Hello folks! It’s been a while since last post – my apologies. This year I will write more often 🙂
The beginning of the year 2018 continues the same where it left last year – pretty much no snow in Southern Finland. Now however, weather forecasts have promised somewhat frost even in the daytime. Yesterday I went on a day trip to Kurjenrahka National Park. The place is more north than I live in, so there’s always a bit more wintery feeling there even if that’s not the case in Turku area.
At the same time I wanted to test my new camera backpack – F-Stop Tilopa. I have long wanted a camera bag which is comfortable to carry on your back all day long and where you could fit all the camera equipment in addition to the spare clothing, food and other camping accessories.
The F-Stop Mountain Series combines high-quality materials and stylish design, delivering durability and comfort when used for camping, hiking or other outdoor activities while safeguarding your valuable photo gear.
My choise was the 50 liter Tilopa in a striking orange color Nasturtium, as they call it. This model is large enough to carry all my gear on a day / overnight hike and yet be very carry-on friendly. Skis, tripod, snow shoes etc. can be mounted either on the front or the side of the bag using the multiple handy quick-release straps. This bag feels extremely sturdy and versatile and I had no problems to carry heavy load with me yesterday.
I will be posting more about this bag after I have used it properly for a while. Meanwhile, enjoy your stay outdoors.
